Counselling, a Smart Investment in Yourself
From time to time we reward ourselves with a treat—a cup of coffee, a new electronic gadget or app, perhaps a new smart watch or clothing. Consider rewarding your inner life and budgeting some of this money for counselling. What could be a better, long-term investment than improving the quality of your life—your relationship, health, emotional well-being, and sense of meaning and peace in life? Counselling can help deal with problems before they take physical, mental, and financial tolls. Add therapy to your cart, make yourself a priority, you deserve it.

Payment
I use an integrated payment system with my booking system, Jane App, including the highest level of encryption available. This ensures that credit card information is securely stored and inaccessible to me. This streamlines billing, automatically charging your card after a session, allowing us to focus on what matters most—your therapy. When you book your first session you can sign onto Jane Payments. If you don’t have a credit card or have any concerns about using this system, please reach out to me, I am happy to find an alternative that works for you.
*Distance counselling by Video and telephone available, inquire for more information.
*I offer evening and Saturday appointment times for working individuals and couples.
Counselling Services in Nanaimo Covered by Insurance
- Many insurance and extended health benefits plans cover counselling services from a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). I am also registered with the Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta (ACTA). Please check with your plan before beginning therapy to assess coverage and to determine the most affordable counselling options.
- My clients often use Blue Cross, Great West Life, Manulife, Sun Life, Desjardins, The Cooperators, Chamber of Commerce, Green Shield and many other Insurance plans to cover their counselling. You will need to contact your plan administrator to determine if therapy is covered.
- If your Insurance Plan can be billed under Telus Health e-claims I can direct bill. You will need to check your plan first and, if eligible, contact me prior to your session with your details. I am unable to direct bill Blue Cross.
