Counselling & Psychotherapy Rates

My fees follow the recommended guidelines of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. Sessions are 50 minutes and typically scheduled weekly or biweekly, depending on need.

Individual counselling and psychotherapy: $160 per session
Couples and relationship counselling: $175 per session

Rates for Intensive Couples Counselling depend on the format and duration. Please inquire for details.

Legal-Related Requests

Requests involving legal matters — including letters, copies or summaries of session notes, reports, court-related documentation, or communication requested by lawyers or legal representatives — are billed separately.

These are charged at $250 per hour, prorated in 15-minute intervals.

Legal requests require dedicated time outside of therapy sessions. They may take up to four weeks to process and are paid directly by the client upon invoicing.

This structure reflects the time, care, and liability involved in legal work, and clarifies that therapy sessions are not designed for legal documentation or case preparation.

Payment

I use JaneApp for scheduling and secure payments. Your credit card information is encrypted and never accessible to me directly. Your card is charged automatically after each session so we can focus our time on the therapeutic work.

Sessions by video or phone are available.
Saturday appointments are also offered; please inquire for current availability.

Insurance Coverage

Many extended health plans cover counselling with a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). Please check your plan to confirm coverage and claim limits.

Publicly Funded Programs

I provide counselling services through ICBC and support clients referred through FNHA, Métis Nation, Nuu-chah-nulth, NIHB, and other partnering organizations.
